Final shift of 2011

Last night saw me do my last shift of 2011, and what better place than at Muddy's and it turned out to be a great evening all round, with some old and new friends coming in to enjoy the fun. Jen managed to get some pictures (Which I am bad at) and here are the ones that she took.. Thank you Jen for the pictures you truly are wonderful :)

I also want to thank Naigo for all her hard tireless work  you have done since we have been a team at Muddy's, I look forward to another great year working with you Naigo... "Happy new year Naigo!"

When its right..

Tonight was a night for taking a few mins to have a chat and do a little bit of catching up, this time of year it such a busy time. New Year is almost upon us,and the new year is looking ver bright ;)

Boxing Day fun

Well they say no rest for the wicked ;) it was back to Muddys for a magical two hours, it was lovely to see so many great people there, and we even had a short burst of William singing.. Still weighing up if that was a good thing, you know the old saying "where there's blame theres a claim!" ;) ... Only joking big guy, not that such a great guy would read my blog (trying to dig myself out of a he here ;) )






After that me and my delectable other half Jen headed off for a dance and a chillout, found ourselves at LAR listening to DJ Falconer. After a while and a crash we headed off for a bit of cuddle time before logging out :)

Santa's Wonderland

Lat night as it was gettin near Xmas I thought it best to do some exploring, as I had never really been out and bothered with Xmas, yeah yeah bar humbug and all that, but heres the first and I must say that Santa's wonderland was really good. There was loads of things to see and do and a cool ice skating area, not that I can skate but on SL anything is possible even for me :)

Yesturday Jen and I was messign about with some pose's that Jen had bought, we have a few more to work through but this is was snapped by Jen. It looks like I know my place, or should I get it taken the other way around. ;)

When to people find that they belong with one another, special moment are shared, we decided that we wanted to show that we were together and wanted something different :)

Well I have to say that Jen takes and awesome picture, not only because she was in it but what she can do with them as well. I am sure in the future we are going to have loads of great pics to share, and as we look an awesome couple it would be wrong of me to hide any pics away in my inventory.

Well all I can say is this at last I am in the arms of a great and sexy woman that can see that together we are unstoppable and we are both truly focused and devoted to each other... Hugs my girl close...  xxx

Kicking the night away :)

Well it was coming to the end of the weekend, but both Jen and I found he time to head out and gets some dancing in.. and what better place to spnd the night with my darling than the kicking club... it had some cool artists and they sang some great tunes :) 

Jen looks amazing in her outfit...  Grins.. I am so glad that things have turned the way they have... you are a dream baby and one I dont want to wake up from  ;)

One day closer!

Wooohooo!  Okay very one, keep calm, but let me tell you its another day closer to Xmas... Does a little jig :)

And to top it all last night was a great night, it was a little quieter an normal but I guess thats due to the amount of Xmas parts going... Why anyone would want to go any where other than Muddy's is beyond me, but I guess it takes all sorts lol...

Well last night I must have been good as I got to sit on Santa's knee.. He offered me a sweetie and everthing. Man I must be in for a good Xmas present this year, ponders the last year, hmmm I was good all year not evern a hint of me being bad or naughtly... roflmao...

Well tonight I am hitting the town, I might even go out in a sexy Santa outfit.. I think I would be booted from Muddys if I turned up in it... A little on the sparce side on clothing I think lol I will see what it looks like and make a choice lol (Someone please remind me to take pictures,  please lol)

WTH!

Okay I know SL is a place that we can all go and have fun, make friends and just hang out. But every day I see things that make me wonder what goes through peoples minds! I mean why is it that people have to use and play people to get back at others, it's such a childish thing to do.

All I can say is

"Lets be careful out there, its tough on the streets, get street wise"

Amazing!

Last night I was in the mood to dance, Jen was online when I logged in as after spending a few mins at home and having a quick cuddle I noticed that Jen had created new tag. One that said "Jester's", it really touched me that she had done that, and it wasn't long before Jen had don't one for me so we matched :)


It was then a case right where do we go to show our tags off?  Muddy's! For the rest of the night we danced and talked and had an awesome night, I had so much fun and its all down to my darling Jen and her adorable sense of humour :)

Learning curve, and chill out time.

Last night was a little quiet, Jen sadly was not able to get online, anyway as I was at a little bit at a loose end I decided to try Firestorm Viewer out. Now I'm still trying to find where everything is, I was never a great fan of V2 from LL, but I did only try one of their early versions and I am sure that its come on leaps and bounds since I last dipped my toe in to that viewer style. 

So with Firestorm installed I headed to Muddys, I just wanted to make sure everything worked. Well things seemed to rezz but slowly, but that might just have been SL, as we all know SL & LL never have issues with their systems... Cough, Cough ;)

As I got to grips with the new look, which is still on going I managed to catch up with a few friends, which was nice. Local chat was really bubbly at Muddy's, the Xmas cheer is truly in full swing it would appear... Wooohoooo :)  There was the usual people that always pipe up and try to stir up a fight or try and invoke a response ... Tough! nice try is all I can say, and this is the only time I will honour you with recognition of being sad :)

Xmas cracker!

Firstly! Can someone please remind me to take pictures when I am doing something special.... Please, lol

Monday was as awesome as always with a rocking time at Muddy's! You guys rock!!  After my shift I spent the rest of the night with the Smexy Jen, as always Jen looked stunning and we danced the night away talking and chatting, sadly the night few past!

Its nice to spend time with such an amazing and caring person, and we have both realised that we should have been together a long time ago. Well its been put right now and let the good times begin and the amazing fun start :)

Reality or Fantasy?

Well SL is and always will be a place which moves at a pace that is more in the spectrum of light speed. Many have said that in SL today's news is almost forgotten as soon as it has been said or done, which I must say does seem to be the case from my limited experience :)

In SL the way people act is very varied and there perspective on things is just as broad, but the level of their reality of there life in SL does at times scare the pants off me.. We must remember that SL stands for Second Life, but for some it appears that there time in SL is more an attempt on reality, and when you read some of the things that they do or act out,  its a worrying time for those they are in contact with in both RL and SL. 

But remember that this is ONLY my opinion, but I would be interested to hear your opinion and how your refer to your AV and your SL :)

Somethings I really dont ...

Signs, most of you will know that I m not always known for my tact, and I do feel at times to say what goes through my mind. Now may might say that cant be much, and my reply would be "Haha!!"  your so funny! lmao..

My question is simple!  Should I be saying what I think or should I be the one to say a more subdued version of my thoughts or pussy foot around the topic so I don't offend anyone...

I can hear the creak and groan or doors and shutters on windows being pulled closed as to duck out of this post and the possible need to answer...  I ask you to pass comments, it will be an interesting thing :)

My legs hurt!

Well last night was a free night and was looking to getting out and dancing, well thats what happened,  firstly I was at sanctuary rock. After a while Jen logged in and we stayed and danced for a while, just to do something different we headed over to the Wharf...  and there we stayed and danced.. I bumped into an old friend Freespirit, and I it was lovely to catch up with her .. but she was playing protector over Jen...  I guess I am a bad boy and people need protecting from me...   lmao

Well the night ended with a last min hug and the off to the land of sleep lol

Wow...  From the past to the present, may I introduce my sexy partner Jen... Here is a few snaps of the very special night that I asked her to be my partner... thank god she said yes... But I have to buy the coffee every now and then :)

Mellow Xmas warm up @ Muddy's!

Well last night was one of those days, i hate the cold dark weather here in the UK and man was it depressing yesterday!  Anyway that put me on a little of a downer, and as a result I wasn't really in the mood to DJ last night, but man I am so glad I did!

Well the shift started quiet and as normal the crowds grew, but I threw a bit of a curve ball into the night by asking Nai what she thought about running a rather impromptu "Best in Santa's outfit".. Well Nai thought it was a great idea so off we both went.. working on the notices to get the work out...

Well what can I say, we had some great outfits  to judge! The ladies were amazing, so a big thank you to Mammu (Who Won), Marie, Cher and Katie...  You all looked amazing... And the the best guy in the outfit went to Softpaws... he when the whole hog and had the full AV...  But as a special one off we had a lovely reindeer outfit that make me giggle and when seen dancing with Softpaws looked so cute :)

So Xmas is nearly upon us so be sure to watch out for future comps.. we might run a few more impromptu ones to spice up the Xmas spirit! So keep your eyes open :))

Franks Place!

The other week someone reminded me that Franks Jazz was still a busy place, well as SL is a little crazy at the moment I thought I would go and check it out. Well a friend has been keeping me company and tonight was not exception... I convinced her to slap a ball gown on and come nad dance with me...

Well when we go there it was a little quiet which was good as we could rezz fairly quickly, we headed out onto the dance floor and spent the night talking and dancing... I had forgotten how good it was to whack a tux on and have a dress up night... So thank you Jen for a lovely evening and some great conversation. :)



Muddys & OMG!

Well last night there was a awesome amount of people and there was the usual fun crowd, and we had Naigo keeping the local chat buzzing and lively..  But there was a few moments when there was a few deep breaths I think as the night rocked on... And for me I was playing some tunes I loved, and none more that Stone Sour, Say your'll haunt me!   I love that track! :)

After that I managed to sneek a quick dance and then had to head off as I had RL work... I know it sucks, but at least I get to update my blog ;)  

What will tonight have to offer, its hope its a good one :))

A true meaning?

Lost and Confused!

One thing that I have found that after a relationship breaks up there is a period of time that is just a mess, a time when really you don't know were your going.  For many I guess when this happens we throw ourselves in to the things we do online, for me this phase is now..

And I am thinking that I shall spend this period listening to music and playing some gigs.. I might even dare I say go out and venture to new venues.. I know its all a big shock, but if you know somewhere to check out let me know.  I could do with somewhere new to hang out and hide... 

Time for me to explore and try and make sense of my SL... I will try and keep you up to date on anything decent I come across.

I want to say that if I have someone in my profile either male or female doesn't mean that I want to bang them!!  It means they are my friends by acquaintance and we get on and have a laugh together both in the presence of and via IM... I hope that clears the matter up for those who think having a friends means your sleeping with them.

Great night Woooohooooo!!!

Yesturday I managed to get online a little later than normal but long enough to get out and cool my heals a little.

I was back at a club that I had been to a few times in the past and had a great time, last night was not exception. The music was great the local chat was busy, for once I stayed out of that as I was there to relax and just have a dance.

While listening to the tunes I thought I had better catch up on some stuff that I had been putting off for sometime for one reason or another. Because I have a little more time to spare at the moment I thought that it would be nice to get my friends back in my pics.. So that will happen over the next week or so.. This action will lead me on to the next post, so please read the next post before saying anything :)

But to finish the night off I had some great laughs with some good old friends and ALWAYS make me laugh.... Its good to catch up with you, we must meet up soon and do something :)

I just want to say this!  It looks like the freedom of speech policy only applies IF you're saying nice things about people, however that might not necessary be the truth in anyway. And or don't go against any ones TOS or policy's.

What a night :)

Well last night I had some free time, but thought I would head over to Muddy's and chill out for a while. Well DJ Sissy were rocking the place and Kitty was keeping the room lively and full of chat... Obviously I was as quiet in as a church mouse.. As you all might expect from me ;)

Well it wasn't long before I see an old friend come online, well as she and I had nothing to do or planed, she came over to Muddy's and we spent a while talking and dancing, after about a hour we headed over to the Wharf and joined in the fun there.. The do play some great blues and lets say last night the tunes were spot on... And I think that the local chat got a bit lively shall we say .. Lmao....

Anyway as I have a busy few days in RL i logged off and headed to bed.. But I want to thank Jen for a lovely evening, I am only sad I didn't get a pic of the night... Story my life forgetting to get a pic of the time.. I must try harder lol

Mars and Venus? Nope. The only problem between the genders is that we each have the others needs and wants backwards. Men want to be needed, and women need to be wanted. Not the other way around. It's that simple!

It is at times like this you find out who cares, and I want to thank all my friends for their kind words and support, just having someone to dance with makes the day a better one and one that is more tolerable.

But without people like you guys and girl SL would be a far less fun place, and I am so glad to have you all around when I need you the most.



Madness Monday!

Well Mondays are always a little crazy and this ones was no exception. Muddys, has been on a new sim for a few weeks now, and I know it takes a while for everyone to up date there LM's. The club appears to be as busy as ever and we are seeing a great mix of people coming through the doors.


What I am finding hard is the balance of music that people like, and last night was a great example of just that. It was a bit of a quiet night wit regards to requests, and requests are a great way to get the feel for the mood of the crowd.. So dont be shy when your in Muddys let me know what you want to hear :)

Well I could go on and say a lot more but it would appear that my attempts to be a nice guy is a waste of time...

Finally home in a place that was always meant to be, and both of us are looking forward to fun and laughter for days, weeks and years to come. Our arms are our protection, and our dreams are our future and our loving smiles will be our success for all to see.

What could be better?

Last night I had not planned anything, it was a day that had me thinking what to do. I spent some time at home sorting out my chim, for some reason one of my dances had gone a bit odd and just had me going around in circles.. Anyway I was ruthless and removed it lol.

Well I headed over to Muddy's and get my little legs in a boogy and waited for Rommie to come online.. And omg when she did she looked amazing , we spent the night dancing and chatting.. Naigo took a pic which I will add later, but its just a lovely pic of the two of us.. Thank you Naigo!  :)

We listened to Lexie and had the awesome Naigo keeping us rocking for the whole two hours :)

Better gets even better!

Last night was totally amazing, firstly Muddys was rocking and the set was good old English pub!  And once the word got out that I was in the chair for the beers all night the pack filled up quicker than people onlookers at the Michael Jackson Trial!

Both Naigo and I got the ball going with some great rock and to be fair some great requests, and one dedication from Viennastarr to her soon to be husband in SL... In real life they have been married for 17 years... SO congrats to you both for SL and RL marriages.

After work something even more amazing happened, both Romanceme and myself sat and chatted for a while. And I am so happy to say that the pair of us are back to being the amazing couple we had always dreamed of being. 

Were we should never been away from, each other!



Fury and Rosebuds Wedding

Well last night I was lucky to have been invited to the wedding of two friends, I have known Fury from my early days as a DJ at a club in Mayfair. And its always been great to catch up with him, and now I get to see him marry a very lovely woman and I am very sure that they will both keep each other happy and content for the many years to come...

Last night was a great night at Muddy's and it really built as the set went on, Naigo was her normal amazing self.. The night was infused with fun and laughter, it was made a better night as it was also someones rez day and to mark the occasion Nai rezzed a cake and we partied for a amazing two banging hours...   As always things got silly and as I have turned over a new leaf I bite my lip and let the fun happen around me..

The one thing I will say is Muddy's is moving Sim's as we speak so make sure you grab the new LM... We done want you to miss a single tune :)

Tonight I am off to a good friends wedding and I want to wish Fury and Rosebud all the best for the future and I am really looking forward seeing you both later :)

Just very hard...

Sometimes it's hard to let go and move on, and right now life is hard when you see people trying to do the same and move on themselves, hard times ahead I feel and the road looks long.

For me I went to my comfort zone (Muddy's) and spent the evening there talking to a few friends, and by the end of it I was in a slightly lighter mood. Tonight I am back at Muddy's but this time working, but I hear were in the process of moving sims and there might be some disruption to the day... Lets hope I can get some tunes played and get my mind back in the zone...

Hammer time!!

Well its time to get the part mood going and the feet tapping again, I have had a bit of a slow time with one thing or another but now its time to get some focus and some momentum going. Music is a way of life, and is the only thing that keeps life fun :)  Some say that music is the food of love, I think that was a quote from William Shakespeare... But I am sure that someone will want to correct me if I am wrong :)

Okay tonight is a night off and then tomorrow is Muddy's and after a bit of a strange week it will be nice to get some tunes spinning.. Don't forget that I am always open to requests for music tracks :)

Sometimes it takes someone special to say or do something and Romanceme is always open and has recently said this to me.
