Well the night was a bit of a rush as the change in summer time in the US has thrown me into chaos with getting online intime for shift.. Its run in grab a sandwich and bang its online like a rat up a drain pipe... :) Well I had the pleasure of playing some classic rock, and the great fortune to have the awesome host Sierra with me for the night. Sierra was amazing at getting the crowd buzzing and chatting.
Well about half way through my shift William and shortl after Bridget turned up in Muddy's, for those that havent been to Muddy's and know who William and Bridget are they are the owners and managers :) Well about Thirty mins from the end of my shift I get a IM from Bridget asking me to IM her after my shift.. Only saying she needed to talk to me about my shift... My heart sank at this point as the tone sounded like i had done something wrong, I racked my brain trying to think if I had said or done something that could taken the wrong way, but nothing came to mind....
Well in the end Bridget asked if I was able to do a shift that was 8.00am SLT which for me in the UK was not a good thing.. :( But then Bridget sprung a 2.00pm SLT on a Friday night shift for me... I normally play at Thunder Rock at that time but when I was told it was a full time slot, the only answer was "YES I want it"... I was totally stunned to get such a quaility slot... Bridget has been working for months to try and find me a slot.. and she came up with something I could have only dreamed of.... Friday night at Muddy's!! So make sure your at Muddy's Cafe every Friday at 2.00pm SLT... its going to be party time :)
