Last night was one where things were a little messed up for one reason or another, but I had the time to get out and do a little exploring in world... Something that I haven't done in years! SL is one of those places that if you think of somewhere in RL there is almost defiantly a copy of it in SL...
Well I loved Italy when I went there last year... The culture and things to see and do were amazing and I thought well theres a place to start... Venice, never been and thought it might be worth a visit.. I will be honest it was and wasn't what I expected, it had loads of shops and little bars and a cafes and huge amounts of gondolas.. it was lovely to walk around and see some of the sites and walk the narrow walk ways the edge the canals... I did find a great view point on a roof top where someone had put a solitary seat... It was stunning view and so quiet... I guess unlike the real Venice :) I would recommend anyone having a wander around :)
After Venice I went back to Barcelona... I had a very mixed response to this place, and one place I would never go back to or recommend in the flying visit I made there... I wandered along La's Rambles and down to the beach front.... I need to go back and spend some more time there... However I went to the football stadium Nu Camp the home of FCB Barcelona, I walked in the staduim and wandered out on to the pitch.... I was run over to by a manager/owner and screamed at in IM to get all my prims off... and that I have to get out if I didn't... So I pointed out that greeting someone in such an abrupt manner will not encourage people to go and visit his sim... it was empty all baring me and him and his GF... And if he continued to be that he will find it always very quiet.... Lets see how long that place stays there!! Anyway i left and went to another part of Barcelona and then decided to head home rather angry and fustrated at that guys tone...
Well that was the sum total of a free night in SL... I will go back to Barcelona... but they can stick the "Nu Camp" up there butts and sideways!!!
