Pose to picture!

Wow!  Jen and I had talked about taking a nice picture to put in our profiles, we tried the ones we both had in our inventories.. Jen did a bit of shopping and got a few great poses and this is one of them, and I have to say that the work that Jen has put in to the pictures is amazing and I love the background, baring in mind that the picture was taken at my home with my house in the background...

Another great night!

Great nights are ones where you come off and think about the evening and go to bed with a smile, and last night was another one of those times.

Sometimes its not about rushing about doing stuff but just dancing and chatting, Muddys is always a great place to hang out and make friends or meet friends..  Both Jen and I did this and tomorrow who knows what were be doing :)

Well what we did was spend the whole night in Muddys listening to the tunes and talking, Bliss!

Happy 2nd Birthday Muddys!

Well its time to celebrate the second successful year that Muddys has been going, so please remember to give the owners and all the staff and VIP's a very big pat on the back for making it an even better year than before :)

The animal comes out!

Today was a night spent out checking out some new places, and Jen found this little gem called "The Dome".

I managed to get a few snaps of the adventures and I will add my own little comments as I always do, I just hope I don't get lynched lol!

Do they know what there saying???

I was going to write along section on what people post on blogs, but I cant be bothered to be fair. But all I can say is that lack possible foresight means that the're not making themselves look very good in the eyes of what could be the whole of the world.

But I have to say it makes me laugh,  I didnt realise that people love to ,make themselves look so bad in the eyes of others :)

Long live these people and the joy of just being them :)

The Palace of Versailles

Last night was a time to go exploring and the one place that really blew my mind when I went there in RL was the Palace of Versailles. Now to be honest when you google it the pictures are amazing, but seeing the building and the artwork was truly awesome.

Well when I logged on last night I did a quick search to see if the The Palace of Versailles was on SL, and after a short search I found the area, now it was really impressive and I wandered around and I was totally as it is in RL.. I spent time looking at the artwork of the building itself which was pretty much spot on to what I remember when I was there, not only that the paintings in the rooms and some of the ceiling paintings were totally stuning.

If you get a chance then go and look for yourself, due to the large amount of stuff there it was a little laggy but well worth the visit.

Fun packed evening!

Last night was a packed evening and one that turned out to have its high and low points, and as recorded here by Jen shows some of those moments.. and for the guys please remember that the Nutcracker is one not to be attempted without a lot of training and safety  equipment 

Well the other night Jen and I stumbled into a beach that had loads of places to sit and chat, but one of the little islands had a hut with a sort of spar bath in I, bit being to shy I jumped straight in fully clothed. We sat and chatted and had a laugh as a person came in, stood and looked at in this bath and then left.  This got me thinking and that a hot tub at home would be nice!  Jen was amazing and done some checking and testing and found one that fitted the bill totally, and I have a pic of us testing the item our before hard cash was handed over.

 

After that we both headed out to a place that Jen knew, it had some cool places to get some pictures! Some said I was cookoo and I think that this proves it I think lol. 

 A while later Jen managed to get a lovely picture of her in with a lovely back drop, the only thing that ruined it was I was in the shot lol.

And to end the evening we headed off to a club, not one that I had been to before but the music was pretty good and they local chat was pretty lively.. a place that I will go and check out again I think.

Once upon a dream!

SL is a funny place at times, I know we have all had moments when suddenly things start to make sense. Then we sit back and think why didnt I see this all sooner, sometimes its that SL fog that masks us from somtimes might be what were looking for from the start. 

 Looks like I was lucky enough to find my dream :)

A lovely dance at home

Omg Thunder!

As it was officially my first day back after the Xmas and New Year break I had the job of going through all my SL emails that I get. I was shocked to see a group message from Shareen that she was shutting Thunder Rock!

I have to say that it is a sad time, although I never really made a impact at Thunder which was always a mystery for me. It is always a sad time to see such a great club shut its doors, I will remember the times I had there and all the fun and laughter.

Lets hope its not long before we see this great name rise out of the ashes.
